Signed Val St. Lambert Crystal Champagne Cooler with Nickel Plated Handles

This champagne cooler is from Belgium, circa 1930.  The art deco style is unique with nickel plated handles by Belgium silversmith, A.C.A. Charlent. 

It is likely that this beautiful cooler was handcrafted during a time when nickel plating was a popular way to finish metal objects, and it is probable that the cooler was used for entertaining guests in a wealthy household.
